Created by veteran publisher Ron Williams, happyfrog was a community-powered online directory of Vancouver-area businesses and organizations supporting green and healthy living. In December 2008, happyfrog merged with 3rd Whale, combining the happyfrog platform with 3rd Whale's mobile application in several new cities.
Ron recently relaunched happyfrog in Detroit, with an accompanying blog that chronicles that city's rebirth and the people and organizations behind it.
